I often offer things I have seen or noticed (videos, extracts, links to articled, etc.)as materials for other people teaching in school - RE, English, Geography, History, Science.... I am not aware of anyone having done it for me and was thinking about this the other day. I wonder whether people see it as interfering. They are innocent gifts offered in the spirit of sharing and I do not check if they are used or even acknowledged. Do you think I should stop?
If I were the teacher getting materials from you, I would not want you to stop. Teachers at my old school were so good to share materials with me. One teacher, especially, would say that she could not use certain materials with her whole classroom, but it might be good for my smaller classes of IG students.
Novel Had come to the conclusion that it might be better just to drop the practise, except with one friend who has just started to send things to me too. Bless her - and you two :-)
