Does anyone on here had or have an experience with a
student who is addicted to oxycontin? I would also like to
hear about your experience with a student suspected of
    using illegal drugs.

    Hello all,

I have taken a new job teaching k-5 health. We have no
supplies and I am asking for direction on where to find
games/activities/aides on the internet and in catalog form
so I can do a good job. I have found some resources but any
help would be terrific. Thanks and have a great day!

I neglected to mention that there is a drug awareness book also with reproducible
activities plus ideas for their use. It's very inexpensive. Click below and on Kelly Bear

I am so excited to have found a health chatboard. So
often Health is an after-thought in the curriculum, and we
are just lumped in with everyone else. But I am a firm
believer in the importance of a health curriculum,
seperate from PE. I also feel that we need to be able to
support each other as Health E...See More

Once a week, for 20 minutes (prep coverage) I will be
teaching health to a grade 1/2 class in my school. Our
first unit will be healthy eating. Do any of you know of a
suitable website where I can get ideas or BLMs for this
    unit? Thanks in advance.
