I don't know if you got my post. But I saw your post recently- have not been on teachers.net for years. I believe I am the one you were looking for. I wrote "Floosie the Flamingo." Has it really been that long ago? Anyhow would love to catch up with your friend that won the contest.
I am looking for an up- beat inspirational song for a group of third graders to sing to their former first grade teacher and their Spanish teacher who will be retiring.I need it by the latest Tuesday.Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
AnnI am looking for interesting ideas for a retirement education program, such as...songs, jokes, and/or top 10 reasons when you know it's time to retire. All suggestions welcomed, especially funny and entertaining. Thanks

Show me the proof is a dangerous response (I realize you didn't mean it literally) and can get the school in over it's head. Referring the parent to a doctor is just that- a referral and it is possible for the school to be held financially accountable for the testing.
If a parent states that you need to ask why and if they believe it is affecting the child's educational performance you should talk to your sped department. Any indication from the parent they want the child tested and your legal timeline for responding to test or not test just started.
Hello Teachers, Please send me your humorous classroom stories. I am the author of four books. If your story is selected, it will be entered in my next book. I am collecting stories from school teachers because I realize that every teacher has a story to tell. Please put your contact info. in your email.
