My funny stories for the day

First of all, I have a really, really difficult class this
year, so I look for anything that will make the day more
bearable. I had three funny things happen today.

We had a two hour math inservice at school this morning. The
presenter had given us some handouts with a rubber band
around them. I had taken the rubber band off, and when we
got ready to leave, I couldn't find it. I looked all over
the table, under the papers, and on the floor, and finally
asked the teacher sitting next to me if she had taken my
rubber band, in a joking manner. She said, "Does it look
like the one you are wearing on your wrist?" Sure enough
there it was!

Then when I got back to the room, we went outside for our
short, 10 minutes if we're lucky, recess. We have one of
those slides that two kids can go down at the same time, one
on the left side of the slide, and one on the right side.
