I am hosting a retirement party for my mother who has been
teaching for 30 years (the majority of her teaching was in
kindergarten). I would like to send a humorous party
invitation; however, I am at a loss as to what to say on it.
Does anyone have any ideas to share with me.

Amy, I am also planning a retirement party for my mom after
28 years of teaching, mostly in kindergarten! Have you
gotten any responses or ideas yet? I will let you know if I
come up with anything; we are trying to get the invitations
out by Saturday. Good luck!

sunflowers. It turned out very cute! I also found some cute
small tin pails at Target for $1 each. I filled each wit...See More

what about using the old saying..."no more pencils, no more books,
no more teachers dirty looks!" I'm not using this, but it could
work with a book/pencil theme. Centerpieces could be old
encyclopedia's or small books and a pencil holder in the middle.

Amy These are good ideas! Also, for a teacher retirement party, you might want to look at this site: [link removed].

Also, You can get a blackboard eraser, lay it flat on the table, with the felt part up. In between the layers of felt, you can stick one of those little blackboards (that are framed in unfinished wood) that you can buy at Hobby...See More
