My darling first grade female student assigned to be flag
leader for the Pledge of Allegiance could not say..Ready
Salute, Pledge. After that, I gave her the job
permanently. It took her an entire quarter to work it out.
I was sorry to see it go. By the way, the other students
never noticed the difference.
