I too would like a Kindle however it would be for my mom. She really wants one and since I have just gone back to work I could not afford one for her birthday in May. I do not win but love trying.
Sewing - I make wonderful totebags that you can see on Facebook = name is Fresh Baguettes and. . . lots of my son's baseball games, reading, managing my flower gardens and planning for my LAST year of teaching! One more year till retirement!!
I think I could use one of those Kindles to help prepare for retirement!!

Our school is starting the Character Counts program this coming fall. If anyone has any great lesson ideas for the six character traits or knows of a wonderful website for K- 6 I would love to hear from you!
No phone, well unless I get a smart phone, no TV, no internet, no microwave, lots and lots of nature. Gee, I think a Kindle could come in handy.
