    You do the same thing you did at the beginning of the
    year...know what your expectations are, state them clearly
    and every day for the days leading up to the field trip.

    Make sure you have everything prepped and ready to go
    ahead of time - who will be with which chaperone, name
    tags, emergency cards, emergency first aid kits, any inhalers
    or epi pens for allergies, chaperone cell phone numbers, a
    plan for carrying the lunches, etc.

    Field trips are very stressful for the teacher because we are
    responsible for our kiddos in an environment that we can't
    control. Just try to anticipate what might go wrong and
    make sure you have a plan for it.
