...See MoreOhio Kdg. teachers, I am just wondering what type of lesson you did/will do for your teacher evaluation? I found it hard to hit all the areas from the rubric in my Language arts lessons, but Math seemed to be a lot easier (to cover all the rubric areas). I'm just looking for a little guidance and also to see/discuss what others are doing!

Other verses are mash potatoes-(just replace turkey) dressing- and ends with pie and ice cream

We have Literary Character Dress Up Day and every costume must be a character from a book. So I will dress up as Tillie or Mrs. Goosebump from Max, the Bad-Talking Parrot...both require simple women's clothing---dress, boa, hat or scarf, dress...and I have a parrot puppet.

Mine always sign-in and then go read books in my class library. It's something that is quick, easy to stop/start and quick to clean up...we have a ten minute time between door opening and taking attendance. My students know that anytime they finish someething, they always go read a book until I clap.

(that takes care of maybe 6 parents, and I only have 21 students so that saves 1 1/2 hours by itself. As for mental breaks, most conferences last 20 minutes or so, so I have built in mental breaks.
