As the school year is fast approaching, I am looking for a
new boost for my classroom environment. I was wondering if
anyone would like to share how they set the climate for
thinking as well as creating a student friendly brain-
compatible learinging environment. Thanks!

Here are some things I have heard people doing...

*Using incense or Plug-it-ins for a pleasant smell (Check
with your school's rules first...)
*Playing soft music or inspirational music for different
things.
*Setting up your room with bright colors.

Thanks for the input. I teach fourth grade. If you could
elaborate on the revolving triad and the firing line. Sounds
like I could have some fun with this and keep my kids actively
involved!!

Have you read the book called Environments for Learning
by Eric Jensen? It helped me with my room. Here is a free
web site to check out for great ideas on bulletin boards.
