Hi, all.

In teaching math, I have mainly relied upon direct
instruction and foldables. I'm trying to "let go" (smile)
and start moving to a more student-centered approach.

I am thinking about ordering the following books to help:

1. Teaching Student-Centered Math Grades 5-8 by John A.
Van de Walle

2. Differentiating Math Instruction: Strategies that Work
for K-8 Classroom by William Neil Bender

3. Introduction to Communications: Grades 3-5 (The Math
Process Standards Series ) by Susan O'Connell

Does anyone know anything about these resources, good or
bad?

Thank you for your time and help!

Sandra
