I hate writing everything down for a week at a time. It seems like I don't get to everything that is written down. Now I copy off the things I plan on doing and put the papers in drawers.Then I plan each day as it comes. Things are already done and I add it to my plan.

judy5ca Good thinking, Teri! I've never worked at a school where I DID have to turn in lesson plans, but they're always out and open, ready to be seen. And you're right--they're a prediction, what I hope to accomplish. I write my plans for the whole week, but I come in very early every morning and think through every lesson. Kath/Ks My principal asks that we have the week written out in case of an emergency so a sub could be ready without warning. She occasionally will stop by to check that they are on our desks and observe for a few minutes. Then, we turn them in at the end of each quarter.
