I wrote this motivational story. It touches on "Where will you live?" (you are building it now!). Any feedback greatly appreciated...I'm about to have my second story on bullying and self-esteem animated. Thanks, Randall [link removed]

If your lesson/circulation time permits...See MoreYou can also "feature" selected books, especially if those younger grades are studying particular topics in their classrooms (like family, jobs, plants, and so on). You could also create your own monthly theme in the library and feature books at all grade levels and add decor built around that theme.
If your lesson/circulation time permits, you could set up a small space in the library with kid-friendly seating (you know those little stools that are a little squashy, but they don't have as much give as bean bag chairs?) and a table in between with your featured book selections. You could make it a special event and "invite" small groups of students to sit there and read together.
Good luck in your new position!

Are you looking for a site that comes with a template? Meaning all you need to do is fill in the information and the website is made for you?
I still use an old version of Microsoft FrontPage to create my websites - it's simple to use and perhaps there are inexpensive copies of the software still out there? The new software _ Expression Web - I'm finding difficult to move over to - it's just too much html writing.
There are cheaper software products out there as well - Web Studio - is very easy to use. The trouble is, it slows down once you get a site over 40 pages. It' your site will be small - this is the one I'd recommend.
Regarding a free server to post your web page onto - I'd recommend CWAHI. I've used them for years with no problems. You have UNLIMITED space and the only restrictions are large video and music files.
If you need more freebies - may I recommend my own site for free photographs? No registration required - large resolution picture files that you can use on your website. I'm a retired teacher and am sharing my personal collection at FreeTiiuPix.com
Good luck on it. It was a tough test, passable, but tough ;)
