Creating a budget

I am currently in school to receive my MLS and I have to create an imaginary budget for an elementary school media center. I was curious to find out what you would want for your own media center, if you had no restrictions placed on what you could buy.

Cece Don't forget online databases and services. World Book Online is worth every penny (in my opinion). Also, magazines and other periodicals, both for students and teachers. I would also include DVDs and audio books. And - don't forget your teaching needs! Cece

Elementary Librarian The first year I was librarian, one of my principals asked me to make up a wish list. I had no idea what to put on it, but I sure wish she'd ask again. The general supply closet at some of my schools does not provide book tape. I have also invested in a book tape dispenser that I love.
