I just found out that our school is hosting several student programs this summer and the media center will be used as a classroom. Should I try to establish guidelines when I am not there to oversee library usage? Anyone have experience with this? I plan to speak with the Principal about my concerns.
definitely speak with your principal. Is it intended only as a classroom, or are they planning to use the books/computers/videos, etc.? WHO will be RESPONSIBLE for anything missing or damaged? MargieDee I definitely think you need to post some "rules": Here are mine for the Summer School crowd: No eating or drinking in the Media Center. They must be left outside! The person in charge must be responsible for making sure no books leave the Media Center and that books are reshelved PROPERLY. The supplies in here were purchased with my money, so pleas...See More
