Anybody looking at this novel or have any ideas?
Lit I don't think I'd use this novel as a class study. It's very enjoyable though. I've read the whole series, and I just don't think it's class appropriate for everyone. Many of my students read it on their own.

Cristy If it's just for one child, why not assign some kind of reading journal? When my students read independently, they are required to write about what they read in low- stakes journals. I give them a bookmark with a variety of questions and writing prompts on it to help them if they're not sure what to write about. Alternatively, you could have the st...See More
