from middle school to elementary scholl

I have taught in the middle school for 13 years. I am considering a change to elementary for next school year. The thought makes me both excited and nervous. It has been years since I was in college learning about all of the up to date teaching ideas for lower grades. Can someone give me some insight. Maybe a website that talks about the daily layout and pacing along with techniques and new go to words like RTI and Daily 5.

MAKE THE KIDS damn MEMORIZE THEIR TIMES TABLES! No idea what hell's been going on in our middle schools, but some of those folks need to be ashamed for sending children to HIGH SCHOOL, just to get those children out of their hair, who can't calculate 3 times 6 without taking off their shoes and socks.
