Does anyone writes monthly newsletter. I have looked at the traditional school newsletters where all the children are and will work on the same thing. But in the Montessori classroom except the discussion and few activities regarding the monthly theme there is nothing common. could you please guide me what to write in the newsletter. Thanks a lot and Happy Holidays!

maureen and I forgot that I ALWAYS thank parents for anything and everything they might have done for the school be it attend a parent ed class, donate materials for a celebration, etc. That is very important, probably the most important to always include.

MC I had a similar situation as Maureen. I used to write a four page newsletter booklet each month and found that parents NEVER read it. Instead, I've shorted it to a one-page newsletter with a bullet list of important events or activities taking place.
