When song collections (Frozen) are offered in our Music catalogs, do we still need to ask for copyright permission to perform them??

mdmusic What do you mean by catalog? If it is in a textbook, or a reproducible like Music K-8 then you can perform them. If you purchase it from a catalog then I believe you have to have purchased a copy for every singer that will be performing.

Your purchase of the Arrangement or the Method Books(for Instrumental Music) or a set of vocal pieces (one for each singer performing) IS the permission from the Publisher to perform them.
