I am looking for some new ideas for games or activities for Kindergarten through 6th grade. I am running out of ideas and was wondering what some of you did. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
I provied my pre-k -3rd graders with a game of musical hoops. You would play it like musical chairs, but you use hoops in a circle on the floor and start the music. Students must place both feet in the hoop when the music stops. The last child standing on the outside of the hoop is out.
Okay so I have a k-6 license, I've been teaching fitness classes for the last five years, am currently the health and fitness coord. I don't have a health exercise degree my degree is in psychology. So does anyone know what I would need to do to teach pe instead of a regular classroom? I've been trying to find info but with no luck.

So I have been a PE teacher in the New York City Public School system for 5 years now, but this is my first year in High School, and I have nothing to do with my 60 or so students per class especially when I have to split the gym with another school. Does anyone know of any good ideas I can get started with right away? Thanks all.
I am looking for any help with exercises 5 and 6 of the nbpts physical education exam. These exercises are movement forms and integration of technology and interdisciplinary approaches. The questions are centered around 16 yr old students.
Hi, I am working at a summer day camp this summer. I am working with third, fourth, and fifth grade students. I am having trouble with coming up with games for them to play in the morning time when it is cool outside. We have already played basketball, baseball kick ball, hide in seek, and duck, duck, goose. Any ideas would be appreciated.
I am wondering if there are any schools out there that have two female teachers or two male teacher in middle school or High school P.E. programs and if so how do you handle locker room issues?
When I was the only Male PE teacher in a high school and teaching co-ed classes, I would have a female para monitor the girls locker room during their dress time. This was the best solution to that problem. She was not my para but she was required to do so by my principal. I had to go to the administrator, but it is something they do not want problems to occur as well. Hope this helps.
