My family and I live in northeastern Indiana. I graduated from college in 2006 and to my pleasant surprise landed a job within a couple of months. I taught there for three years. At the end of last year they told me that they were very sorry, but they would not be able to have me back the following year because of budget cuts. I thought okay, I will find something somewhere else, but there are literally no PE jobs near me. Schools all over the state are cutting back. Two schools in my county are getting rid of 20 or more teachers in their school district. I have kind of given up on teaching and was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions for alternative careers that might crossover with physical education. I am willing to go back to school, but would rather not considering I currently have a $32,000 student loan debt. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
