Even as Trump is across the water's edge blaming a former president for his lack of action, breaking news today reveals that Russia has been ramping up their spying efforts after Trump was elected. Trump is in Europe literally repeating Putin's talking points and siding against our own intelligence agencies.
Bob R/CAObama did do "something," he did several somethings, and all reports are that Trump will do NOTHING and even roll back the sanctions Obama levied. In light of the news story above, this makes you wonder who Trump is working for. Trump seems to be a complete puppet of Putin.
Bob R/CARun out on her? I'm confused how Podesta saying something under oath that is "technically true" amounts to a felony for Hillary. Maybe the tabloid hasn't explained that yet, get back to "us"
The only enduring solutions in Iraq and Afghanistan and Syria involve building coalitions with the countries that Trump is labeling "terrorists."
The solution for Russia's crimes and attacks against the US and in Crimea is to stand up to them, and not lift sanctions and give them back their espionage headquarters.
So Trump is completely backwards, destroying relationships with the parties we need to advance our agenda, and sucking up to the countries that are conducting ongoing attacks against us.
And on top of everything, he just. can't. stop. tweeting.
It's a crystal ball into his blessedly simple little mind, providing our enemies intelligence and propaganda, and our own officials endless anguish and embarrassment.
Tim FinneganDr. Chalky, when did you examine the patient? And in which of the 57 states was this done? I'm sure that you never have instances of mental instability that you are diagnosing our president with.

The article tells you of the days to which these conservatives wish to return - days in which organized crime did more for the hungry than the government!
Notice this quote:
(Quote)
It became common to hear people praise Capone's efforts by saying that "he was doing more for the poor than the entire US government."
With the success of Capone's soup kitchen, and others like it, the public began to place more pressure on the government, criticizing their lack of social support programs. The obvious irony of the fact that a mobster was doing more for the people of Chicago than Chicago was doing for its own people spawned even greater disdain toward the government.
(End quote)
My disdain is for conservatives who think that hunger is a great motivator.
Things only got worse for Capone after the in...See MoreFrijole wrote, "Al Capone is now known to progressives for his charitable acts." No, history and progressives see Capone as being little different from the Republicans in Congress. Both have virtually zero compassion for the hungry.
In Capone's case, the article says,
(Quote)
Things only got worse for Capone after the infamous St. Valentine's Day Massacre occurred in Chicago on February 14, 1929 - and, though he was never officially connected to the murders, it was popular knowledge that he was in some way involved. As a result, Capone began to look for ways to earn back the trust of the communities he worked in, and the economic collapse of the Great Depression gave him plenty of opportunities.
(End quote)
The point, neither Capone nor conservatives have any real interest in dealing with human suffering. In fact, they are quick to use the suffering in any way they can - such as to increase their profits, or blame the suffering on the exploited.
