What is this split in the democrat party? Weeks ago, you couldn't be a democrat and support a pro-life candidate. The DNC even said you could not be a democrat and pro-life.
Is this time for Bernie and his bros to emerge as the New Democrat party? Or will we be stuck of more of the same from the left?
I like the idea of Mueller as a special prosecutor. He will leave no stone unturned. On that point, if Comey really did take "copious notes" of all of his meetings, I wonder what his notes say about his meetings with Obama and Hillary Clinton.
No wonder we haven't seen those "notes" yet LOLOL!
"A month before Donald Trump clinched the Republican nomination, one of his closest allies in Congress — House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy — made a politically explosive assertion in a private conversation on Capitol Hill with his fellow GOP leaders: that Trump could be the beneficiary of payments from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"There's two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump," McCarthy (R-Calif.) said, according to a recording of the June 15, 2016 exchange, which was listened to and verified by The Washington Post. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is a Californian Republican known in Congress as a fervent defender of Putin and Russia.
House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) immediately interjected, stopping the conversation from further exploring McCarthy's assertion, and swore the Republicans present to secrecy.
Before the conversation, McCarthy and Ryan had emerged from separate talks at the U.S. Capitol with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, who had described a Kremlin tactic of financing populist politicians to undercut Eastern European democratic institutions."
"Conversations with some officials who have briefed Trump and others who are aware of how he absorbs information portray a president with a short attention span.
He likes single-page memos and visual aids like maps, charts, graphs and photos.
National Security Council officials have strategically included Trump's name in "as many paragraphs as we can because he keeps reading if he's mentioned," according to one source, who relayed conversations he had with NSC officials."
Steve Kroft: Do you think it posed a national security problem?
President Barack Obama: I don't think it posed a national security problem. I think that it was a mistake that she has acknowledged and- you know, as a general proposition, when we're in these offices, we have to be more sensitive and stay as far away from the line as possible when it comes to how we handle information, how we handle our own personal data. And, you know, she made a mistake. She has acknowledged it. I do think that the way it's been ginned-up is in part because of- in part- because of politics. And I think she'd be the first to acknowledge that maybe she could have handled the original decision better and the disclosures more quickly. But-

Steve Kroft: This administration has prosecuted people for having classified material on their private computers.
President Barack Obama: Well, I- there's no doubt that there had been breaches, and these are all a matter of degree. We don't get an impression that here there was purposely efforts- on- in- to hide something or to squirrel away information. But again, I'm gonna leave it to-
Steve Kroft: If she had come to you.
President Barack Obama: I'm going to leave it to Hillary when she has an interview with you to address all these questions.
Seems like Obama put his thumbs on the scale of justice out in the open instead of in hiding.
But, I forgot ... that was then, this is now. It was OK for Obama -D to give classified info to the Russians. But Obama-R ... I mean Trump - R. Now that's a problem!
