"While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation, I nevertheless concur with the judgement of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau"

So, you are saying that Trump would lie about this in a letter that he KNOWS will be front page news? LOLOL I'll take that bet in a minute!
It's hilarious to watch the libs writhe like worms on a hot plate over this. They are so full of hate a vitriol, they don't know who to target. Even that idiot Colbert thought that if he broke the news of Comey's firing on his show, it would draw a round of hisses a boos toward Trump. But, just the opposite happened and they applauded Trump because the pro-Hillary crowd hates Comey! They think he is the scum of the earth for re-opening the email server investigation on her right before the election. They think it's Comey's fault she lost! But of course, to hate Comey, you have to like Trump for what he did LOLOL!
I'll just leave this snippet from a WSJ (you know, that ultra liberal news rag owned by Rupert) article:
:::quote::: Those close to Mr. Comey said he was blindsided by his dismissal, which he saw on TV while at a law-enforcement event in Los Angeles. He was hurt that after years of service, he didn't receive a courtesy call from the White House, a close associate said, and initially thought the television reports were part of an elaborate joke. The White House said it was following protocol in delivering the dismissal letter by hand to his Washington office.
Mr. Comey's associates also denied the claim made by Mr. Trump, in his letter firing Mr. Comey, that the director told him on three occasions that he wasn't under investigation. They said Mr. Comey never gave Mr. Trump any such guidance, which would violate longstanding policies on criminal investigations. "That is literally farcical," said one associate. :::end quote:::
ETS, read that 2nd paragraph carefully and let it SINK IN.
The VA Office of Inspector General found in a recent healthcare inspection that 225 veterans at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System facility died with open or pending consults between Oct. 1, 2015 and Aug. 9, 2015. Nearly half—117—of those patients died while experiencing delays in receiving care.
White House senior adviser Jared Kushner's family business encouraged wealthy Chinese citizens to "invest $500,000" in their real estate empire and then be allowed to immigrate to the United States.
That was the message for an event held Saturday in a ballroom full of wealthy Chinese investors at the Ritz-Carlton in Beijing, The Washington Post reported.
Kushner's sister, Nicole Meyer, encouraged those in the ballroom to invest in her family's New Jersey real estate project and get an investor visa in return.
The visa, known as the EB-5 immigrant investor visa program, gives foreign investors the opportunity to invest in projects in the U.S and then lets them apply to immigrate to the U.S. The program has been used by both the Trump and Kushner family businesses.
The investor visa program is extremely popular among very rich Chinese eager to get their families — and their wealth — out of China.
(Snip)
The Washington Post reporter was then asked to leave because the presence of foreign reporters threatened the "stability" of the event.
(End quote)
I should add, if you have a large increase in the rich in a city, it is disastrous for the citizens. Vancouver did this and those rich immigrants bought up the housing until citizens could no longer by a home.
Now, in Barcelona, Spain, the citizens are being priced out of the city as rich foreign tourist buy and rent with the result of pushing up the prices.
This is all the result of extreme inequality, or as George Carlin said, "It is a big f**king club, and you ain't in it!"
T...See MoreA teacher in Weld county, CO decided it would be okay to let students hit a Trump pinata... one can only assume for Cinco de Mayo (quick... what does it celebrate. And don't GTS.). The pinata had Trumps pic on it and was hung from a tree (can anyone say lynching?). Can you imagine the outrage if ANYONE had done this with an Obama pinata?
This teacher should not be on paid leave for this incident. The racism in this act is obvious. This teacher needs to be fired. The students probably need some sensitivity training, as well.
In reality, partisanship is just ugly business. As long as elected representatives continue to disrespect the voters who put them in office, it's difficult for me to be riled unless threats of physical harm are made.
Global temperatures change over time, and while there are various theories, no one really knows why. If the alarmists were real scientists they would go back to the drawing board.
In this case, the paper by Liu et al. is not about overturning climate sci...See MoreNo surprise, ETS is clueless how science works. Just because you find an anomaly - that is a conundrum - you do not throw out all of the science. But worse, ETS should know that "WattsupWithThat" is a climate denier site with a long record of distorting information.
In this case, the paper by Liu et al. is not about overturning climate science - (I read the study). It is about looking at a problem and using it to improve the models. From the article "A global temperature conundrum: Cooling or warming climate?", we find these quotes from the lead author the study at the WattsUp blog and ETS are referencing:
(Quote)
"We have been building models and there are now robust contradictions," says (Zhengyu) Liu, a professor in the UW-Madison Center for Climatic Research. "Data from observation says global cooling. The physical model says it has to be warming."
The scientists call this problem the Holocene temperature conundrum. It has important implications for understanding climate change and evaluating climate models, as well as for the benchmarks used to create climate models for the future. It does not, the authors emphasize, change the evidence of human impact on global climate beginning in the 20th century
"The question is, 'Who is right?'" says Liu. "Or, maybe none of us is completely right. It could be partly a data problem, since some of the data in last year's study contradicts itself. It could partly be a model problem because of some missing physical mechanisms."
I'd lay bets he will be.
Just like Sally Yates was.
