Seven people were shot across Chicago on Tuesday, one of them fatally, bringing the city's gun violence toll to more than 1,000 victims this year, according to Chicago Sun-Times data.

The 16-24 age demographic has experienced the highest unemployment rates and the highest increases in unemployment since 2008. In some areas, unemployment in this age demographic exceeded 20&37;. Nearly one-third of this demographic lives in poverty and are the most likely to commit crime and become the victim of crime.

But no, we cannot create such a society in the richest country in the history of mankind, because the rich must be allowed to keep whatever they get. And so we have rotting schools, crime, and violence while the rich . . . Well, see below!
And the point, if the rich are not forced to reinvest in our society, then the society will degenerate to become America today!
... member of Congress who represents the territory on the southwest border supports President Trump's request for $1.4 billion to begin construction of the wall.
However, the people who hire the "undocumented" want them to remain "undocumented." That way they have no access to the courts if the employer decides to not pay them. And don't get me started on working conditions.
Plus, to say the exploitation wages paid to these foreigners does not impact the price of labor in the lower portion of the labor market is just foolishness.
People love the undocumented workers so long as they are not taking - and lowering wages for - "their" jobs!
“Fourteen billion dollars will go a long way toward building a wall that will keep Americans safe and hinder the illegal flow of drugs, weapons, and individuals across our southern border,” said Sen. Cruz. “Ensuring the safety and security of Texans is one of my top priorities. We must also be mindful of the impact on the federal budget. By leveraging any criminally forfeited assets of El Chapo and his ilk, we can offset the wall’s cost and make meaningful progress toward achieving President Trump’s stated border security objectives.”
Yet Ms. Schlussel now is denying those allegations. It is the false claims such as this one or even the Duke Lacrosse case that make it very difficult for those who have actually been harassed (or worse) to come forward and be believed.
People like this lady who make false accusations need to face the music and be held accountable for their words.

Bob, have you forgotten the first black president so soon? Bill Clinton was accused. Juanita Broderick. Paula Jones. And in the case of Paula Jones, Clinton settled. We have heard many times here (when it involved Republicans) that settling implies guilt.

She also disavowed her sworn affidavit. Here is Juanita Broderick, 2016... "I was 35 years old when Bill Clinton, Ark. Attorney General raped me and Hillary tried to silence me. I am now 73....it never goes away."
Clinton paid Paula Jones to drop her suit. Bill must have been admitting guilt in this case. We've been told that's the only reason someone would settle (see Dems all wee-wee'd up over Trump settlements). Seems like exposing himself and groping her would constitute $exual assault.
These women, just like those accusing Trump (who also seem to have walked their stories back) should be believed. You always talked about the accusations during the campaign, we waited for the women to come forward, and yet, they refused. Allegedly because of death threats. But, just as likely, the claims are false.
This will go nowhere because Michelle Obama would be in trouble too.
****article In an interview with Vogue, First Lady Michelle Obama explicitly acknowledged that one of the questions she considered when choosing fashion designers was, "Can I give them a boost?"
According to Vogue, Obama remarked, "There are definitely designers that I love, people I love to work with. And who they are as people matters. Are they good people? Do they treat their staff well? Do they treat my staff well? Are they young? Can I give them a boost?"
The implication here, of course, is that Michelle Obama deliberately exploited her position as first lady to "boost" the sales of private businesses. Her ability to create sales spikes was a widely-accepted fact.
But if one is to criticize Kellyanne Conway for the ethical implications of exploiting her office to benefit private businesses, one must also acknowledge Obama's explicit admission of intent to do the same.
