So you must be praising our president for bringing up the jobs numbers. It's great to be in the Trumps recovery?
Or do you hate that someone who is not a D is doing better?
I have seen the Obama and democrat admin pick and choose how to calculate statistics in favor of their plans and against others. Look at the pay gap between the people I the Obama administration for an example. They only want to look at particulars when it favors them.
Same with unemployment. Less people looking for work makes the numbers look good, but is not always the case.

And how many jobs did obama create in February 2009 (his first full month in office) that were not government jobs? Hmmmm
"During Obama's first 13 months, the economy continued to shed another 4.3 million jobs. But as Trump enters office, employers are eager to hire millions more. The number of job openings continues to hold at near record levels."

Poverty is still 3/10s of a point higher than it was in 2008, so Trump will have some work to do there, since obama did little for those in poverty.
However, in a chart on this same page, obama really helped bring up the corporate profits -- even much higher than bush!
And a recession started by obama? But does he get too much credit - yes, at least according to time.cnn.money. The Federal Reserve should get the most credit. time.com/money/4176949/who-really-dug-us-out-of-the-great- recession/
For eight years, economic indicators repeatedly came below forecasts. Now, there's been a string of reports — the latest one is on jobs — that have outperformed economist predictions. What's changed, we wonder?
The survey also found that substantial numbers of students admit to using student loan money for things other than education: 24&37; say they've used some of the money to pay for alcohol, a third for clothing or to eat out, 7&37; to pay for drugs, and 6&37; to gamble.
As IBD noted recently, the amount of student loan debt on the federal government's books has shot up by 125&37; since 2008. The entire increase is due to the fact that Obama nationalized the student loan program in 2010, cutting out private lenders and having the federal government lend the money directly to students.
I'm glad we agree on this one. I read this a couple of years ago when it came out and I think it's pretty funny too, although sadly she's addressing a very real problem.
"As women, we have to walk a line of being assertive enough so we’re taken seriously at work and are considered for leadership positions with the chance to advance on our career paths. But we have to balance that with the right dose of modesty that doesn’t render us meek and subservient lest we come across as b!tchy.
When we walk down the street, we have to fear for our safety. We worry that a skirt too short or a sidewalk too dark might mean unwanted advances from some lurking man who might do unspeakable things to us.
We have to guard our bodies and our drinks at bars and our calories so that we don’t get to the point when men stop hitting on us altogether (NOTE: I’ve reached that point, but happily so since I’m a lesbian and generally a hater of all things creepy men).
We have to dodge men spitting and peeing and exposing themselves. We have to watch our backs and our fronts and everything in between.
Even if we’re not being hit on, men often sidle a little too close for comfort, man-spreading to give their giant t@sticles breathing room, or for some other unknown justification. We have to squish our legs together and endure hairy man elbows in our face on public transportation, in movie theaters and in allegedly cute European-style (AKA, small) restaurants."

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House says President Donald Trump was not aware his national security adviser was probably going to have to register as a foreign agent for his lobbying work.
Spokesman Sean Spicer said Friday that Michael Flynn's decision to register was a personal decision and not one for the Trump's lawyers to determine. He dismissed questions about whether Flynn's work as a foreign agent should have given Trump pause in naming him national security adviser, saying Flynn had "impeccable credentials."
[**]Lawyers for Flynn told Trump's transition team before the inauguration that he might need to register with the Justice Department as a foreign agent because of work on behalf of Turkey.
Flynn was fired after less than a month on the job after misleading Vice President Mike Pence and other White House officials about his contacts with Russia's ambassador to the U.S.
:::end snip:::
Was the problem that the transition team didn't tell 45 about the need for registration or was he told and just ignored it? It's either a lack of communication or incompetence -- maybe both?
Governing is difficult -- as is developing a repeal and replace health care program.
