There appears to be no witness to call. As he said, he's not going to engage in a witch hunt against private citizens without some evidence. That evidence has to be more than a FAKE NEWS story in the New York Times.

It's a bi-partisan committee.

There is no "connection." There is only fake news by the NYT, CNN, and the AP. They have nothing to back it up but "un-named sources." That's not evidence. That's BS. It might go a long way keeping Trump-haters seeing black helicopters in their sleep, but it won't fly in a legal proceeding.

On the other hand, should he be punished for what are currently “allegations?”
Then again, if you dislike the misogyny that is endemic in America, you should object to not only Pres. Trump, but also an economics system the commodifies women.
Instead, they chose the Clinton/Obama candidate Perez. Will they continue the coastal strategy and fawning over big Hollywood that cost Hillary the election? Or will they realize that people in all states matter and run a fifty state strategy?

“Have you ever conducted business using your personal email accounts, nonofficial Oklahoma Attorney General email accounts, text messages, instant messenger, voicemails, or any other medium?”
Scott Pruitt's answer:
“I use only my official OAG [Office of the Attorney General] email address and government issued phone to conduct official business.”
As a result of investigative reporting by Oklahoma media, the attorney general launched an investigation and...

Thanks Lulu!
I got pulled away from the computer before I could double check that 2nd link.
Similar to the GOP and Elizabeth Warren, CA is trying to silence female senators on the floor. State Senator Ricardo Lara not only cut off the microphone of Janet Nguyen, but also had sergeants-at-arms remove her. I wonder if a white male would have been able to continue his statement?
Context: she was criticizing a former state senator during his own memorial ceremony. In other words, the purpose of that portion of the session was specifically to show respect to a colleague (fellow senator) who had passed away. She would have been allowed to make those same comments during a later part of the session, just not during the memorial portion. I don't know if it was right or wrong to do this (to make the comments at that time, or to block her and have her removed). I understand her perspective. But it is not the same as the situation with Elizabeth Warren because criticizing someone during their memorial after they have passed away is a lot different from criticizing someone during their nomination process before they are confirmed. Totally different purpose and totally different effect on listeners.
“By participating, I would be forced to submit to forms of oppression designed specifically for women,” Nazí Paikidze insisted. “It sets the wrong example, particularly for young girls interested in chess.”
Paikidze, the current U.S. chess champion, could be competing for up to $100,000 in prize money. However, she has refused to attend the event.

However, we don't allow girls and boys to wear caps to school or cover their head, but if they are Muslim, they can wear a scarf? Are these students being respectful to our nation or following our laws (rules). No, they expect special treatment. And in the US we seem to do that; however, in the Middle East, they make no concessions.

Have you ever lived over there? One of my very good friends spent years over in Saudi, and had to wear the burka when going outside of their compound. She also was not allowed to drive a car.

What nonsense is this? I live in the bible belt, and have never seen this happen. Definitely not in the Catholic church. And in fact, I'm sure I have worn spaghetti straps years ago when visiting protestant churches and that never happened. Most times you cover your shoulders because the a/c is down so low!
