:::quote::: Trump has the power as president to make that clear immediately — by declassifying all government intercepts of communications between Russian nationals and anyone in his orbit.
The huge edifice of classification by the U.S. government has no basis in laws passed by Congress (with one small and, in this case, irrelevant exception.) Instead, the executive branch classifies material based on presidential executive orders, with the president’s power in turn based on his constitutional role as commander in chief of the armed forces. The Supreme Court has stated that the presidential power “to classify and control access to information bearing on national security … flows primarily from the constitutional investment of power in the president.”
This means that Trump has the power to declassify anything he wants, right now. CNN has reported that he has already been briefed on the contacts between his associates and Russians.
So in theory Trump could ask the National Security Agency and all the other U.S. intelligence agencies to give him all the relevant intercepts and post everything about them on the White House website this afternoon. :::end quote:::

It...See MoreIf you google for articles about local or Swedish problems problems with immigrants, for example, you have to go through at least two pages of google before you can find something that isn't a far right or sensationalistic click-bait-ridden site. That is because the mainstream media excluding FOX wants to push a pro-immigration agenda.
It's reached a point where you have to cross-check several sources with every news item...but forget cross-checking the domestic MSM excluding FOX because they are all using the same text almost verbatim. As I mentioned before, several sources used the word "apoplectic" incorrectly - even PBS! - to describe Donald Trump at his first news conference.
I was tired of the msm so I tried BBC radio one day and every hour on the hour they reported about the arson of a Black church in Mississippi where the arsonist scrawled "Trump" on the walls. I could hear that on U.S. news. Anyway, the arsonist turned out to be a Black man - I wish I had checked to see if the BBC reported THAT! I would bet you a few Starbucks drinks that it did not.
"Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly will travel on Wednesday to meet with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto as they look to ease tensions with the United States' southern neighbor and discuss the Trump administration's impending crackdown on illegal immigration."
At least he has some capable cabinet members who can clean up his messes, since he's such a good negotiator and all.
I suppose they'll be moseying down to Australia next.
Australia wants the US to take refugees that they aren't willing to take themselves. Mexico expect us to take their immigrants who crossed our borders and legally without objection. What's wrong with that picture?
All over Sweden they have problems with Muslims who don't fit into the Swedish culture. They don't want to admit it in public but it's there and they've had lots of incidents attacks on regular Swedes, girls and women especially.

Do you even know what Sharia Law is? Just because something has been perverted by fanatics does not make that perversion what the majority believe in. Would you like for people to judge Christianity by the Westboro Baptist Church or the KKK, which bills itself as a Protestant group.?
Of course an influx of poor and/or uneducated immigrants taxes a country's social systems. No one's debating that. I have no problem with a rational immigration policy, including limits to immigration and vetting of immigrants. Those were our policies under the Obama administration. It doesn't mean there aren't benefits to immigration. It also doesn't mean it make sense to block a Sudanese doctor from returning to their job in Cleveland or an Iranian scientist from starting their work at the Harvard Med School just because they are from a majority Muslim country.
People always overestimate the danger of the foreign and underestimate the danger posed by the familiar. Case in point, last summer I traveled to Italy and more than one person asked me if I felt safe going to Europe. "Aren't you afraid of terrorism?" they'd ask. "Remember the bombs?" I pointed out that they live and work in Boston, site of the 2013 Marathon bombing. They seemed to have forgotten about that.
In 1996 my Swedish relative were frantic about my safety and some urged our family to move to Sweden, after a Swedish au pair was found beheaded after a night of clubbing in Boston. The case has never been solved. I had a hard time convincing them that Boston was generally a safe city.
Something similar happened after there were teacher protests in a city near where my family owns a home in Mexico. A few people couldn't believe I would risk my family's safety. I had to remind them that our home is hours away from that city and that their concern was like refusing to go to Sea World in San Diego because they'd heard there were gangs in Los Angeles.
