This story has been told by Alice Assaf whose son was beaten then shot by ISIS because he refused to change his first name from the Christian “George.”
Assaf told a reporter how ISIS turned a bakery into a death shop of horrors, putting children into machines for kneading dough and turning them on to crush the hapless kids inside. Men were baked to death inside ovens.
He was warned? I don't know if you noticed but this is Syria, not Iraq Bush didn't invade Syria. As for warnings, who warned him? Unnamed experts? Would these be the people who ignored the million or so murders of Saddam? I seem to recall the Egyptian leader predicting that the war in Iraq would lead to a million Osama Bin Laden's but that never happened., he was wrong. Who knew?
> "Mission accomplished."
Yep, Iraq has a democratically elected gov't. Don't you like democracy?
> That djinn ain't going back in that bottle.
True, but democracy is a good thing. The Iraqis seem to like it. As for Syria, we can thank Obama and Clinton for that mess.
> And US ground troops into Syria is just sending more > horses and men over after Dumpty.
So, what's your take on Obama sending US troops into Iraq and getting them killed? Obama withdrew all US forces against advice and allowed Syria to fall into chaos. Unfortunately president Trump has inherited the mess that Obama left. Then too, there is the secret negotiations that candidate Obama conducted with her and before the election. He could be tried for treason on that. But go ahead and blame Bush. Obama demanded that Assad resign. Assad didn't resign and Obama did nothing. Obama drew a red line on the Syrian use of chemical weapons. The syrians used chemical weapons and Obama did nothing. Obama pretended he had not drawn a red line. He allowed Assad and Isis to murder a million or so innocent civilians and you think that's Bush's fault. At least President Bush had something to show for all the effort in a rock. What does President Obama have to show for all the chaos in Syria?

on "if you like your doctor/insurance, you can keep him/her/it" and Obamacare will "save you $2500 a year on insurance premiums". He repeated these lies many, many times.

But you forget that only a small number get insurance through the exchanges. That means that most people are not eligible for the subsidies. The promise wasn't that people on the exchanges would be the only ones who saved.
I also notice you didn't address the one time lie of the year. If you like your plan or doctor, you can keep it. Period. I cannot see any way to defend that as anything other than a flat out lie. And plenty of stories said that he, and the rest of the democrats knew it.

the Democrats choice for healthcare reform is starting to unravel itself. Remember, it was Democrats and Bernie that chose this type of healthcare reform. It was such a good bill, they started writing one fix (repeal in democrat language) before even passing it. Unfortunately, I think it will die it's own death. Republicans need to just let the law remain as the democrats wrote it.
All the same, presidential mania on social media isn’t a pretty picture and will do nothing to stop the coming investigations by Congress into what exactly was going on between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin last year. Trump’s bluster and deflections on the campaign trail sufficed to push aside some of those troubling questions, but things have reached a point that the full story, no matter how unpleasant it may be, will come out, eventually.
At a minimum, the House and Senate intelligence committees will be conducting investigations which ought to worry the White House, whose political future will likely depend on how many Republicans are willing to back Trump—and by extension the Kremlin—over fellow Americans. Since several prominent Republican senators, including Intelligence Committee chair Richard Burr, have indicated that investigations are going forward, the White House can’t depend on partisan loyalty to protect them for much longer.
Republicans should be advised to put country over party right now and pursue rigorous inquiries into the full extent of Trump’s Moscow links and their impact on the election—and the new administration. Washington is at the precipice of a scandal unlike anything seen since Watergate. Indeed, KremlinGate promises to be much seedier and more troubling than anything proffered by President Nixon.
Here the inevitable comparisons to Watergate fall short. Tricky Dick committed domestic crimes, and paid the price for them, but Nixon was in no way beholden to a foreign power—much less one which has several thousand nuclear weapons pointed at the United States. Neither did Nixon collude with that foreign power’s spies to arrange his own election to the presidency.
We are now discussing things worse than mere impeachment. If members of Trump’s team colluded with Russian intelligence, the Espionage Act comes into play, and we’ve entered uncharted waters, presidentially speaking.
For the foreseeable future, the still-forming White House will be enmeshed in fighting for its political life as disturbing allegations mount in Washington. Donald Trump promised to shake up American politics, and less than a month into his presidency he has surely done so. But not in the way he promised."

Are these the same people that told Harry Reid that Romney paid no taxes? Or the people Pelosi and Cummings quoted when they believed Flynn was a scapegoat?
Something needs to be done about the leaks of things that should be more than just secure. Even 44 believed that. And as far as hacking goes... that's what the leaks from the DNC were referred to as that scuttled the chances of 42s wife.
Doesn't he realize that his downfall may *not* come from US leaks?
Our allies could very well bring down his presidency.
From James Baker in an interview last week: “We have allies that are just scared to death,” Baker notes, as a result of Trump’s early rhetoric and unpredictable foreign policy."
