Creating a power point is very easy. In our school, even first graders do it. There are MANY tutorials on line. The one I linked has a number of tutorials. You can choose the one that works best for you
PictureBookWomanThank you for the websites information. I am one of the technologically challenged old dogs but I am trying to bring myself into the computer age. I appreciate all the help I can get
ete's Powerpoint Station has hundreds of Powerpoints for all grade levels and subject areas. Sometimes I use what is posted and other times it provides a springboard to developing my own powerpoint presentation.

I am going to be using a Promethean Board for the first time this fall with my 3rd graders and am looking for any and all resources like this. It is difficult to find the time to "create" but it might only take a minute or 2 to modify a bit to meet the needs of the students.

I love making review games with powerpoints. Since whenever possible I try not to reinvent the wheel, I have found many templates for powerpoint games. I use this one frequently.

rezi is becoming a very popular presentation school. Some have even suggested that it could replace powerpoint within a few years. Are any of you familiar with it?

Hmmm, curious. Maybe I sent a working url instead of the public version one. Try this one:

It's on Sonata Form in music. This was for a year 9 class.
I've also just completed this one for my other teaching subject of Religion.

This one could be for year 7, 8 or 9 depending on what I wanted to show from the path

My second graders study an animal and then create a slide on that animal with a picture and brief text. Then I put them all together in a slide show. When we show it, each student stands up to briefly talk about his or her slide. Second graders love this!

I love that Google Documents now let's you store and even create "presentations" (PowerPoints). Now you can access, build, and collaborate on your slide shows from anywhere you and your team can get access to the Internet.
go to google, look for "Web, Images, Videos, Maps, News, ...Shopping, Gmail, more" click on more and then click on Documents.
