Ple...See MoreI teach K-8 music. I'll be buying one or the other with my own money so that I have it for school and personal use. I spoke with one music teacher who is an IPad user and swears she doesn't need anything else to store her music files, powerpoints, etc. and use in class.
Is there anything a laptop can do that an Ipad couldn't?
I LOVE powerpoints. I like them as they are, and sometimes I import them into my Promethean, I think they both have advantages though, and power point can do some things I like especially well.

My point is these are rather graphically sophisticated games. Does anyone know how they were made? I would like to create graphically advanced educational games for my students.

Just wondering, I've seen some great power points for early childhood....what kind of software is used for the best graphics and fonts..... Is there a free graphic software for a MAC? Thank You
I put all the songs and the slide show (saved as a package) in one folder.
I burned this folder... but when I try to take the recorded CD and play it on a Windows computer... only two of the songs will play.
Someone told me that the Window format does not like "four letter words". They will read a .jpg, but a mac will read a .jpeg.
Now, all of the five songs end with .aif When I do the shortcut for information, it says that the files (every one of them) are AIFF-C audio files Is this my problem?
On 10/29/1...See MoreI know you probably have this problem solved by now, but thought I would throw this out to others. If you are going from Mac to windows, you might try Zamzar.com to convert the music files to mp3 format. You can also use Zamzar to convert documents and movie files.
Hope this helps on your next project.

Being a future history teacher and interested in using Powerpoint for lessons, what are some ways to make history Powerpoints creative, fun, and interesting for students to use?
