I made a post earlier referring to this same method of teaching, but many classrooms are going web 2.0. Something I like to do is to have my lesson plans all planned out on powerpoints. I keep the text as minimal as possible so they don't get distracted or overwhelmed. Instead, I become dynamic by standing in front of the classroom, ipad in hand connect to my AAXA mini projector to scroll through lessons. I highly reccomend this method of teaching since white boards while dynamic, are too labor heaving. You can achieve the same effect using an Apple iPad connect to a pico projector and engaging the class in thoughtful discussion and lecture.
I am making a poster in power point. I have a background and I am trying to put a png frame on top of the background. I have adjusted their order. When I print, there is a white box around the png frame. How do I get it to be transparent?
I am wanting to purchase a projector to use in my classroom this year. I work at a private school and so I have to purchase it with my own money. Can anyone share with me which of the cheaper projectors work effectively. Thanks in advance for any input.
