Take home folders

Bo Over the years I had on the front of the take home folder the 4 non negotiables of PreK. Other years the prince had the 7 habits of a highly effective leader school wide so I broke those down to PreK vocabulary for the take home folders. Leah Congratulations! Get to know the school, espectations, and do lots of listening It's okay to ask questions. Be prompt, and perhaps write a letter to parents expressing your enthusiasm toward teaching their child. Be aware that some parents might quesiton why a man would enjoy teaching young children. Does anyone do a "traveling mascot" type activity?

I was wondering if anyone does a traveling mascot activity. My co-teacher described it as sending home a bag or basket containing a stuffed animal and a notebook, along with instructions to include the the toy in some kind of family activity over the weekend, and write about it, draw about it, and/or take some photos to put in the notebook.
