Does anyone know where we can get some cheap color overlays to help with reading? I have a student who needs one and they are pretty pricey from the place we checked. I am thinking about trying to print a color onto a trasparency or even cut a clear folder. Any other suggestions?

Teresa Williams In a book by Marilyn Applebaum, she suggests if a child needs the transparency in a particular color , have the child's reading glasses or clear lenses tinted that color. I've used the sets by Marie Claybo and they have an anti-glare on them that you don't get other places.

We found a site where he could have 5 over...See More

Micky in TX National Reading Styles Institute sells them for $5 each. Not bad if you already know what color the student needs. They sell a sampler kit for about $40, but the overlays are small so it's just to see what color a child needs.
