    NER, and very funny!
Have any of you left teaching in a public school to lead an independent school? I'm wondering if it is unheard of or if it actually happens sometimes. I am a candidate for an indep. school head of school position and I'm wondering how to spin my experience since all 20 of my years have been in public including my principal internships.

Schools looking to increase the use of technology in the classroom and become 1:1 schools, with one tablet computer or laptop for each student, often struggle with the cost involved in rolling out such a program.[article linked below]

Hi everyone, Every Wednesday at my school there is a Chapel service lasting 30 minutes or so. On Ash Wednesday it is my turn with my 4th graders to put on the Chapel service.

Does anyone have any ideas or samples that would be helpful?

    Thank you in advance.

    Blessings on your day, Terri

Samuel_JS For those who read my previous posts about my experience in being terminated from my Pre-K job due to Twitter accounts that were created in my name by an impersonator, here is an update, and I swear I am not making this up. It has turned into a nightmare:

    1. I was dismissed from the local public school district that houses these students (...See More

Samuel_JS I would like to clarify something from my original post, since it may be unclear to some of those reading about it. This was a very small, private, non-profit school. There were only 3 classrooms (Pre-School, Pre-K, Kindergarten) with only 3 teachers. There were a total of 35 kids enrolled in the school. Around here, you would never see public scho...See More
