Linda Hum, I guess just kind of in general. For instance, when I went to social studies/history training, we were told to use the standards to teach our state objectives. But I haven't been to ELA training yet, and my daughter said that you will teach the standards and our state objectives will be tossed out.

Terry It was also explained to us that not every state is exactly alike. Some adopted all, some none, and some only adopted some of it. I am in Florida, and we were only trained in reading and math.
