Lead 21

What are the major concerns w/ the Lead21 that your primary teachers are having? I am a first grade teacher andi find it overwhelming to do all that's expected in a day or week. I feel the word study area moves too quickly from idea to idea and should spend more time on each idea/skill. I also think the arrangement of skills/concepts for word study doesn't make the most logical sense. There seems to be little opportunity for teacher input or any opportunities to teach beyond what they offer. I fear we are going to miss out on teaching important topics if we are tightly bound to only Lead 21. I am now hearing from several different places that Lead 21 is NOT aligned to CCSS as we were told when it was sold to us. Any info on that? Thanks, Louie
