Grease loaf pans. Bake about 1 hour and 10 minutes in 350 degree oven.

* Sprinkle roast with salt and pepper. In a large nonstick skillet, brown roast in oil on all sides. Place in a shallow roasting pan coated with cooking spray. Arrange apples, onions and garlic around roast; sprinkle with rosemary.
* Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 to 1-1/4 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160°, turning the apples, onions and garlic once. Let roast stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Yield: 8 servings.

take a rectangle of ham, pat dry, spread a thin layer of plain soft spread cream cheese (could use veggie cr. cheese), plop in black olives (could use green I suppose too) intermitently along one end. Roll up the ham. Slice at even intervals along the ham. Chill until ready to serve.
I think this is how it is done. I will do mine Tuesday and let you know!
I am looking for recipes of something to give my coworkers as gifts. I only have a few to provide for, but I have waited until the last minute. Thanks in advance for the help.
Presented in a pretty jar this makes a wonderful gift. Someone gave it to me one year and I've made it for others since, and it's always a hit! It's easy, inexpensive but very well received. And it's different from the usual cookies and loafs.
I got two huge ham bones from our staff luncheon today. Any good recipes to share? I want to make a soup or beans, but need some fresh ideas. I would also like to cook in the crock pot all day.
split pea or lentil soupI use the ham bone to make either split pea or lentil soup. I just follow the recipe on the package of dry beans and it's yummy. If you don't want to make the soup now, you can freeze the ham bone for later
