Dean or Director in Interior Design
Prince Sultan University- College for Women is a private, non-profit institution. It offers a Preparatory Year Program in which students develop their English, Math, Computer and PE skills to the standards required for their further study in English-medium undergraduate courses & graduate program (MBA), offered by the University. We have opportunity for a well-qualified, committed and experienced Dean or Director in Interior Design. Selected candidate will be required to join at the earliest.
Qualification: The College for Women is seeking applicants (women only*) for the position of the above mentioned discipline.
The successful candidate is expected to provide strong leadership and managements skills in working with faculty in curriculum development and strategic planning for the program; to recruit excellent and fully qualified faculty for the program; serve on College and University Committees; provide strong leadership skills in working with College administrators, interior design professions and other allied professions and disciplines; and teach in the Interior Design Program.
Candidates must have a minimum of a Master in any of the following: M.S., M.F.A. or M. Architecture and/or related discipline. Those with Ph. D. or near completion of a Ph. D. in the same fields will have preference in hiring. Commitment to quality in teaching and research is required.
* Consistent with current cultural norms in Saudi Arabia, female students are segregated from male students in all aspects of the programs. The same is true with its faculty/administrative members.
The University is expanding and is situated in well equipped new premises in north-central Riyadh. We offer one-year renewable contracts and competitive salaries based on academic qualification and teaching/administrative experience.
