I want to get a new easel that is lower to the floor so that I can sit at it and the kids can reach it for interactive lessons. (a poor teacher's smartboard) Can anyone recommend one that you really love? Thanks!

ConnieI have a weekly spelling center. I changed the activity each week. Some examples, stamping, rainbow writing, write in a silly sentence, write in a story, write in a smile face, draw a picture with the words in them...Google spelling menus and you will get so many ideas and some printables.
look on the website teacherpayteacher.com, search under spelling game and there are several that would make a great center, I got one that was like a board game, print it out, put it in a file folder and laminate- done. they make great centers.
