I'm looking to try something new for MLK Day. Any ideas you'd like to share?
paula I do a biography unit in February. I ask all students to read a "just right" biography about a famous American that they choose and write a real report about them. I have each child choose one person, each student does a different person. I have many leveled biographies and spend time talking to each child helping them pick their "Hero".
