We put together an online resource for teachers and youth leaders who want to build team spirit and camaraderie among their group members. We've compiled a number of games and exercises (12 at current count, but we've got about 10 more ready to go), and we've categorized them by age (ages 4 to 13), type of activity (physical, problem solving, dramatic play, etc), and the time length of game. The instructions for each activity are detailed, but we've also laid out why each activity is useful, and how teachers can review the games afterwards.
We hope you find it useful. And, we're always looking for new activities, so if you have any ideas, please let us know!
What kind of websites do you all find most helpful? Would a website where you can ask for customized worksheets or assessments be helpful. Or a website that helps with lesson planning and research? What is out there that you love or what is something you wish you could find? Thanks for any input. Writing a paper. :)
This is a website with textual content, photographs, and videos of many of the national parks of the world. The website currently has nearly 200 pages and is projected to grow beyond 1,000 pages when each national park listed is fully presented. The multimedia approach used by National Parks Worldwide offers a teacher's class the opportunity to take a virtual field trip to national parks located around the world.
After you have reviewed National Parks Worldwide please feel free to offer any suggestions that you believe would improve the website for use by your classroom and recommend it to other teachers if you find it useful.
