Discuss with your K to Age 8/Grade 3 mentor teacher the types of activities the mentor teacher actively promotes between parents and children. If there is literature available outlining this, secure a copy and review it.

Design six activities that extend or support the school curriculum but are intended to be completed in the home. The activities should cover reading, math, science, social studies, music, and art. Ensure that both parents and children can participate in the activities.
