Does anyone think that a specialist degree in Instructional Technology would be very helpful to a classroom teacher? Would schools upgrade pay to the 6th year level if a teacher had this degree but was not in a technology related position?

Well, I have some experiences about it. I firstly made a powerpoint presentation with MS PowerPoint 2003, then burn the PowerPoint Presentation to DVD with moyea PPT to DVD burner. I think it's the easiest way to make a DVD, for both MS Powerpoint 2003 and moyea PPT to DVD burner are easy to use. You may try this way.
PS: Moyea have emailed my that they have promotion sales for back to school season, teacher and student can get 25% discounts on buying their products.

PGGP is an elementary grade book that focuses on the needs of the self-contained classroom teacher. PGGP has been saving teachers times since 1987. PGGP was developed by a classroom teacher (I taught 6th grade for about 100 years) and many features developed though the years came from teacher suggestions. When you need tech support, it will come from the author.

For example, search through our 65,000 flashcards, or create your own set of flashcards, and then share them with your students online. You can even create your own learning community, like "Mrs. Smith's English Class" or "Country Day School" and store flashcard sets and notes for your students to access.
We are working hard on developing the site right now, so your feedback is much appreciated!

I would like to know if you are still intersted in selling it.
Hi all, Our school just started using Moodle and I wanted to use the blog function for my class. Does Moodle allow me to comment on blog entries and will it allow my students to comment on each other's blog entries? Thank you

Hanna,
I believe Moodle has a several list serves that are very active. I can't tell you exactly how to sign up, but I think you will find active discussions of Moodle that would be helpful
Any suggestions on new software to buy for my new computer lab? I am a new computer teacher in a K-6 school with brand new computers but little updated software. I want to order kidspix deluxe 4 for paint unless there is a better one out there. Help!
VickySIf you have budget then KidPix is good and I would also recommend Kidspiration. Do you have standard software like Microsoft Office? I would definitely recommended having Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Publisher if possible.
If you don't have budget there are open source options that don't cost anything like TuxPaint & Open Office.

I teach high school math and am looking for test writer software for all levels of high school math. Does anyone know of any good software that has large banks of test questions for algebra through precalculus? I want something that is easy to use. Thanks.
