Hi guys,

I am currently studying for a degree in teaching and have
an assignment in which I need to track down/design a
template for evaluating educational software.

I am having all sorts of trouble locating such templates
and so far have found just one suitable template, from
UCLA.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a few
more examples of such checklists/templates please?

Any help greatly appreciated!

cheers,
Greg

My textbook has a software program checklist on page 308.

If you're still looking and it's not too late, I will send
along specifics...

Hi Vicki,

Thanks anyway, but I have already submitted the assignment.

Shame you didn't stumble across my posting earlier!
Not to worry.

Thanks again,
Greg

I'm not Greg but ironically I just received a similar assignment.
I would appreciate the specifics.

Hi,

I ended up using Kathy Schrock's (and a few other) evaluation
forms as the basis for my own.
Do a search for "Kathy Schrock".
Good luck with the assignment!

cheers,
Greg

grrrr...Your professor should just give you a good checklist /blockquote>

instead of having you and all your classmates reinvent the
wheel. I've never met one single teacher who used a software
evaluation checklist, let alone wasted time designing one.

Sympathy to you. Good luck with the wild goose chase and all
the other busywork that lies ahead.
