where to look. Does anyone use a good program? Would you

I like the Scholastic Keys software that puts a kid friendly
face on the Microsoft Office programs. I do use it with my
first graders.

The other suite of programs that I use are the House series
by Edmark. There is a "language arts" title called "Bailey's
Book House."

J.K. I have not used it personally but many people talk about the software Kidspiration and Inspiration. I know that it works very well in the lower grades as well as upper elementary.

jayshe We loved this when I was teachig 1st...and it has programs for other levels. Can be used offline, and once loaded the disc can be removed an loaded on another computer. It was simple, inexpensive, and we felt that it got results.
