I have been wondering if in high school the concept of the subjunctive being used with verbs of knowledge should be taught. I ask because one of the activities my students were working on had the following sentences (which definitely caught my eye):

<i>No sabía que el águila <b>volara</b> (volar) tan alto.</i>

It was hard to find information on this usage in my college Spanish textbooks. Should this usage be presented more?
