Does homework help you get good scores? I've been told that I give too much homework. My district only cares about test results, so I think I can justify homework if my scores are good.

I found a good article on homework and test results, but I'm interested in what other teachers think.

YES! Yes, homework helps my students to achieve. It builds good study skills and helps a lot with vocabulary. However, I think it is critical to choose wisely. Homework assignments should be something that you plan to revisit in class. It should be something that is very clearly integral to helping students to process the information you are teaching.
