My Daughter is a junior in high school this year. She is interested in foreign language, possibly translating. What Colleges are suitable for this type of study. We live in Illinois. She has taken 3 years of Spanish and 1 year of German so far. Any pointers or career options would be appreciated. Her grades are solid. 3.1 gpa.

mine too! My daughter did a study abroad in Germany her Junior year of high school! and studied Spanish all four years of high school (even in Germany!) when she arrived back her senior year, she took (in one semester) English, Spanish, French (at the high school) and then German Level 2! at the university! Also, you should have all necessary information (phone numbers, medical release, significant medical history including allergies, current medications w/dosages) for every student just in case of emergencies. GS I agree with the earlier post about making sure that you have full medical information, but I would say it should be from her OB/Gyn, not the school nurse. Make sure about any meds, such as folic acid and prenatal vitamins. Also, any emergency contact info - although this should be standard.
