I desperately need a crash course in Portuguese this summer (I've been asked to teach elementary courses for fall). I've taken classes previously and I'm at the intermediate level in Portuguese, but want to travel to get my conversation back up. If you know if any reputable program, please let me know. Thanks for all of your help!

THere are no Portuguese scholarship, there is hardly anything but a Portuguese language newsletter. It should really be called the American Association for Teachers of Spanish (AATS)

OR....contact the Portugal embassy...See MoreI am sorry! Ok then, how about this: either do a Google search for "Portuguese language immersion Portugal" -- BTW, I have been searching for lodging in Lisbon and Oporto because I found inexpensive flights to Portugal this summer - I'm going to Spain for an immersion course, but still searching for mine!
OR....contact the Portugal embassy in your area. Maybe they know of some programs/scholarships available. (My daughter wants to study in Norway, and found out about scholarships offered by a Norwegian fraternal organization for people who want to study in Norway! - maybe something like exists!) feel free to email me directly if you want. Good luck!
